Appeal Court Remands Nnamdi Kanu In DSS Custody
The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has halted the execution of its judgement which was on October 13, 2022, repressed the 15-count charge preferred on the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The said judgment which had earlier knocked out the rendition of Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria, dismissed the terrorism charges against him.

In his delivery, Justice Haruna Tsanami upheld the application of the Federal Government and ordered that the execution of the judgment be put on hold.
The Federal Government had filed that the execution of the judgment be suspended pending the resolution of its appeal lodged at the Supreme Court.
Justice Tsanami, however, maintained that the counter affidavit filed against the Federal Government application by Kanu’s legal team was misleading.
