Famous Nigerian Rapper Divorces Wife, Alleges External Influences

A Nigerian famous Rapper,  Ikechukwu Onunaku, has divorced his wife over what he allegedly described as external influences.

Ikechukwu tied the knot with Ella, in May 2021, but announced separation from his wife during a recent interview with media personality Daddy Freeze.

The former Mohits Records rapper, who also cited irreconcilable differences, said even he had wanted to save his marriage, could no more contain her excesses.

“I faced issues like gas-lighting, external influences, and feeling undervalued in the marriage,” he said.

According to him, he tried his best to make the relationship work, but she was unappreciated.

In a recent interview with Daddy Freeze, a media personality, Ikechukuwu, gave a vivid account on the reasons behind his walking away from the marriage, noting that they have “irreconcilable differences”.

Hear him: “My wife and I are no longer together. We separated due to irreconcilable differences. It wasn’t over infidelity.

“There was too much gas-lighting, too much looking for faults and too much listening to outsiders,” he complained.
