Just In: Delta Loses Former Senator Patrick Osakwe

Former Senator Patrick Osakwe is reportedly dead.

This was disclosed by a special assistant to the Delta State government on media, Mr. Ossai Ovie Success on March 15, 2022.

The late senator who represented Delta North Senatorial district for three consecutive times hailed from Igili Amah, Onicha-Ukwani, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State.

Not until death, Patrick Osakwe was a business executive and proactive member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

On his Facebook page, Ossai Ovie Success wrote: “We just lost Senator Patrick Osakwe

“My condolence to his family and Ndokwa Nation .

“Sen Osakwe died in London hospital this evening at the age of 73.

We will always miss him.

“Patrick Enebeli Osakwe was a Nigerian senator who represented Delta North Senatorial District in Delta State.

“He became a member of the Nigerian Senate in 1999, and was re-elected in 2003 and 2007,” he said
