Man Strangles Father To Death, Buries Corpse In Uncompleted Building

A 23-year-old man, Ibrahim Hassan has been arrested for allegedly killing his father, Sabi Ibrahim, in Kwara State.

The suspect committed the offence in the Ajibesin, Okolowo Ilorin, Kwara State on August 05, 2022.

Africa Investigative Magazine gathered that the suspect killed his father so he could have access to his bank account.

The Kwara State Police Command commenced investigation into the matter following a report by Aishat Ibrahim that her father was missing.

Upon investigation, the suspect who was arrested confessed to the crime.

He administered paracetamol injection mixed with other substances on his father, whom he later strangled in an uncompleted building.

Thereafter, the suspect dug a shallow grave and buried his father after he had stole his debit card from him.

The suspect, however, withdrew a total sum of N59,000 from his victim’s bank account and was about to wind off from Kwara State when he was arrested.
