The Ndokwa Media Professionals Forum (NMPF) has been officially inaugurated to herald a new chapter for media practitioners of Ndokwa extraction.

The Forum, according to its interim leadership, was established to provide a formidable and credible platform for Ndokwa sons and daughters in the media industry to harness their voices, build capacity, and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Ndokwa Nation.

Comrade Barth Inneh-Ozah emerged as Interim Chairman, while Comrade Odili Ogochukwu was named Interim Secretary of the Forum.

The duo pledged to drive the objectives of the association, which include fostering unity, professional development, and enhancing the visibility of Ndokwa in the national media space.

The aims of the Forum, as outlined, are to promote growth and positive visibility for Ndokwa Nation, build strategic partnerships with government agencies and institutions, organize knowledge-sharing events such as workshops and seminars, and advance the welfare of its members.

It also seeks to strengthen cohesion among media professionals and support overall media development efforts within and beyond Ndokwa land.

The interim leadership, in a joint statement, urged all Ndokwa media professionals across print, broadcast, and online platforms to identify with the body, describing it as “a rallying point for professional growth, credible information dissemination, and societal progress.”

They reaffirmed the Forum’s commitment to peace, unity, and development, both within the media profession and in Ndokwa Nation at large.
