Nigeria, Ndokwa West Will Be Better With Peter Obi, Chuks Onyemulu – Okwuokei

Odili Ogochukwu –

The Labour Party (LP) candidate for Delta State House of Assembly, Ndokwa West Constituency, Chief Chuks Onyemulu has on January 27, 2023, flagged off campaign ahead of the State Houses of Assembly elections slated for March 11, 2023.

The flag off which took place at the Party’s Local Government Secretariat, Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, was witnessed by mammoth crowds of Onyemulu’s supporters and the labour party executives.

Speaking, the State Party Vice Chairman, Hon. Vincent Okwuokei, called on Deltans to massively give their votes to Mr. Peter Obi, Hon. Chuks Onyemulu, and other LP candidates, adding that Nigeria and Ndokwa West will become better with Labour Party sailing the ship.

Hon Okwuokei who was accompanied by the state party’s deputy woman leader, Comrade Sandra Egbeni, described the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) as twin brothers from the same father, alleging that APC built on a corrupt foundation laid by PDP.

According to Okwuokei, PDP who is APC’s elder brother dug a pit of corruption and religious fanatics which gave birth to Boko Haram and insecurity that brought the nation to a standstill.

While saying that unemployment, economic meltdown, and insecurity currently rocking the country will be given urgent attention if Obi is elected as president of Nigeria, Hon. Okwuokei told the masses that the LP Presidential Candidate will move the Nation from consumption to production through exploration of natural endowment, adding that Nigeria will bounce back to the right path with Peter Obi and his economic team.

Illustrating the Nigerian situation with a book entitled ‘Animal Farm’, by George Orwell, Okwuokei explained that Nigerians are stuck on bondage the same manner man kept the animals in bondage to work hard and eat little, urging that the only footpath to let Nigerians out of bondage is to vote out the forces of darkness that held the country hostage since 1999.

He said, “Democracy came into the country in 1999. But the forces in Aso Rock and Houses of Assembly have kept Nigeria in the dark. The past and present leaders champion the courses that destroyed the country. APC and PDP have over the years made Nigerians to labour without eating, just as the dude in Animal Farm.

“Our past leaders shut down all the factories, industries, and companies that could have employed our people, and our youths after graduating from higher institutions. We must stand up now and say no to forces of oppression, the same way the animals did and got their freedom. The only way to get out of bondage is to get your PVCs and vote for Peter Obi and Chuks Onyemulu.”
