Oborevwori Celebrates Ndudi Elumelu at 61, Applauds His Service to Nation

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Ndudi Elumelu, as he marks his 61st birth anniversary on February 23.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor described Elumelu as an experienced legislator and patriotic leader whose years in the National Assembly were defined by courage, diligence and an unwavering commitment to democratic ideals.

Elumelu, who represented Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, was praised for his active participation in legislative business, constructive contributions to national discourse and strong advocacy for policies that promote good governance and inclusive development.

Governor Oborevwori noted that the former lawmaker demonstrated purposeful leadership during his tenure, earning respect across party lines for his maturity and bridge-building approach to national issues.

The Governor also commended Elumelu’s efforts toward constituency development, pointing to various projects and empowerment programmes facilitated under his representation, which positively impacted the socio-economic wellbeing of the people of Aniocha/Oshimili.

He further acknowledged Elumelu’s steadfast commitment to public service, describing his experience and statesmanship as valuable assets to Delta State and Nigeria.

“As you celebrate this milestone, I join your family, political associates and well-wishers in appreciating God for your life of service and accomplishments. May He grant you many more years in good health, wisdom and strength to continue contributing to the progress of our dear state and nation,” the Governor stated.

Governor Oborevwori wished the former Minority Leader continued fulfilment and greater achievements in the years ahead.
