Okolie: 32 Years Gone, Still In Our Minds

“Let us remember that this life is like a market, we should know that death can come anytime and we should be prepared for it.”
These were the words of Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Amuchi the parish priest of ST. Michael Parish Aguoba at the memorial mass of Mr Frederick Okolie.
At Aguoba Obeleagu in Ezeagu Local Government area of Enugu State on Thursday, 29th, December 2022.
Mr Frederick who died 32 years ago, at 38 years old was such a wonderful man and deserved to be remembered at a times.

The event attracted people from all walks of life, children and grand children and the entire members of Okolie Family, friends and well wishers.
To give their father who was a great man of valour , a befitting remembrance ceremony, and also praying for the happy repose of His soul.

Speaking with our correspondent, the first son Mr Vincent Obinna Okolie described his father as a man who loves and cares for all, not only his family but everyone around him .
He explained that he died 32 years ago but it seems he died just yesterday because of his selfless attitude.
Mrs Justina Okolie, wife of the deceased said words are not enough to describe her beloved husband, ” Frederick is a man that loves God and puts God first in whatever he does,he is a selfless , loving , caring and wonderful man,” she said.
She prayed to God to rest the soul of her Husband, she advised her children and grandchildren to always follow the footsteps of their late father and grandfather.
The event featured prayers for the happy repose of the soul of Mr Frederick, dance, eating and drinking and lots of celebration because Mr Frederick lived a good life while on earth, and there is hope and believe that he is resting in the kingdom of God.
