It was learned that Ramaphosa is a few steps out from a summit that will determine his second term ambition in line with his party, the African National Congress (ANC), in 2024.

The Farm-gate humiliation emitted in June, as former South African spy boss, Arthur Fraser, incident a report with the security operatives, alleging that the president is hiding a theft of $4m in cash from his Phala Phala farm, in the northeast of the country in 2020.

Mr Fraser, who is a close ally of former President Jacob Zuma, noted that the money was suspected to be the proceeds of money laundering and corruption, and accused the president of kidnapping and bribing the burglars.

In his part, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa submitted that there was a robbery incident in the farm but the amount stolen was less than what was quoted.

Ramaphosa said about $580,000 was paid in cash for buffalo but was stolen from under sofa cushions in the farmhouse.

“I did not ‘hunt’ for the perpetrators of the theft, as alleged, nor did I give any instructions for this to take place,” Said the South African President.
