The Nigeria Police Force would reduce the rank of Isaac Mathew from Corporal to Constable for promoting cultism.
Isaac Mathew who was attached to Ebonyi State Police Command, was caught in viral TikTok video glorifying cultism in his Police uniform and AK-47 rifle.
His punishment was justified after he was found guilty as charged in Orderly trial for discreditable conduct, promotion of secret cults and violation of social media policy of Nigeria Police Force.

The act, according to the Force, is unprofessional and misconduct by the officers who had encounters with the general public.
The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, however, called on security operatives to uphold ethics, discipline and the ideals of the Nigeria Police Force.
He urged officers to be dedicated to self-discipline in line with policing agenda of ethical regeneration, restoration of professional standards, enhancement of anti-corruption drive to have the desired Police institution Nigerians deserve.
