Three Million-man March For Obi Grounds Enugu, Ondo

Supporters of Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, commonly known as “Obidients” on September 10, 2022 embarked on a rally in Enugu and Ondo States.

Two million-man march grounded Enugu State capital, while one million-man match was held in Ondo State same day.

Peter Obi supporters with intimidating crowd matched from Okpara square round the major street in Enugu kept increasing as they shutdown the state capital.

The “Obident Movement” has long taken over Enugu State, especially as members of other political parties showed outstanding support for the Obi project.

In Ondo state, the participants matched from the gate of Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School, Akure, along Old Owo Road, to Ilesha Garage on FUTA Road, Akure.

The supporters carried placards with inscriptions such as: “We no dey give shishi”, “We are the structure 100 percent”, Obi-Datti for new Nigeria.”

The Peter Obi Supporters Network (POSN) Coordinator in Ondo, Mr. Francis Cyprian, told our correspondent that the purpose of the one million-man march was to create public awareness about the need to vote for credible and competent candidates in 2023.

Cyprian said that the group supported Peter Obi’s presidential ambition because of his credibility, competence, youthfulness, and desire to take Nigeria to an enviable height.

“Today’s one million-man walk is to sensitize the public about PVC collection, stoppage of vote buying, and voting for credible candidates in 2023,” he said.
