High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has declared his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, praising the president as a visionary and transformational leader deserving of a second term.
Tompolo’s endorsement was delivered through a goodwill message presented by Mr. Edgar Daniel Biu at the World Press Conference organized by the PBAT Door-To-Door Movement at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Conference Centre in Abuja.
In his message, Tompolo highlighted what he described as the Tinubu administration’s “remarkable successes” across critical sectors of the economy. He credited the president’s economic reforms with stabilizing the national economy, improving the ease of doing business, and promoting shared prosperity.
Tompolo also applauded the prevailing peace and development in the Niger Delta region, attributing the gains to President Tinubu’s sustained commitment to security and infrastructural development.
He particularly commended the administration’s decisive efforts in combating crude oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and maritime insecurity — issues that have historically undermined oil production and economic growth in the region.
“President Tinubu has demonstrated unwavering resolve in confronting the nation’s most pressing challenges,” Tompolo said. “His policies are laying a solid foundation for long-term prosperity and national cohesion.”
Expressing full confidence in the president’s ability to deliver even greater results in a second term, Tompolo urged Nigerians to rally behind the re-election campaign to ensure continuity in governance and deepening of democratic dividends.
He also reaffirmed his support for the PBAT Door-To-Door Movement, describing it as a grassroots initiative critical to galvanizing national support for Tinubu’s 2027 bid. “Collective participation and unity of purpose are key to the success of this mission,” Tompolo emphasized. “Together, we will succeed. We cannot afford to fail.”
The PBAT Door-To-Door Movement is spearheading a nationwide mobilization effort ahead of the 2027 general elections, seeking to consolidate public support for President Tinubu’s leadership and vision for Nigeria.
