WWE Star Announces Retirement From In-Ring Action

Former WWE World Champion Booker T has announced his retirement from the in-ring competition while speaking on his podcast.
The WWE Hall of Famer returned to action at the 2023 Royal Rumble, taking part in the 30-man Royal Rumble match, before he was eliminated by GUNTHER.
Booker T who said it was the last time he would appear in the ring, added that, as far as wrestling is concerned, he would continue to work with his students not to put on his boots for a contest.
“I’m gonna tell you right now, I think that was the last time people are going to see me in the ring. At Reality of Wrestling, I’m going to work with my students, but as far as putting my boots on again, that was the last time,” he said.
The NXT commentator acknowledged that it is painful for him to finally resign from wrestling, as hanging up his boots after such a lengthy career is somewhat difficult. He added that he believes it was the perfect for him to hang book.
Booker T. Huffman Jr. was born on March 01, 1965. His stage (ring) name is Booker T. The 57 years old is an American commentator and hence, a retired professional wrestler.
He has been signed by WWE to serve as a commentator on the NXT brand. The accomplished wrestler is the owner and founder of the independent promotion Reality of Wrestling (ROW) in Texas City, Texas.
Booker has been frequently named by peers and industry commentators as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He was voted WWE’s greatest World Heavyweight Champion in a 2013 viewer poll.
