48 Year Old Father Arrested For Ra.ping 10 Year Old Daughter In Abuja

A 48-year old man, Adekola Adeshina,  has been arrested by Nigeria Police Force for allegedly defi!ing a 10-year-old girl in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

This was disclosed by FCT Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Josephine Adeh who said the suspect was apprehended by Apo Divisional Police headquarters.

The arrest, effected on February 22, 2023, at 10:15 am was necessitated by a complaint from one Rose Solomon of behind-Prince & Princess Estate that said she suspected her neighbour, Adekola Adeshina, was abusing his daughter.

According to Adeh, the the suspect was apprehended and quizzed where he confessed to have been committing the ‘act with his daughter’.

“He voluntarily established in a written statement to have carried out the dastardly act several times. The 10 years old girl is undergoing a medical examination currently.”

According to her, the commissioner of police, CP Sadiq Idris Abubakar called on parents and guardians to exercise greater level of attention to changes in behavioral pattern of their wards around individuals and ensure that measures are put in place to protect them.

The police assured that the suspect would remain in custody and would be arraigned upon conclusion of the investigation.
