Atiku, Tinubu Lack The Vision To Make A Difference
By Odili Ogochukwu –
It is very unfortunate that Nigerian politicians have repeated the 2015 mistake by presenting two presidential candidates that cannot make a difference.
I know Nigeria would be in shambles when Jonathan and Buhari emerged as their parties flagbearers in 2015.
Recently, former vice president Atiku Abubakar won Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential ticket to contest against Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023 presidential election.

The truth remains that the interest of common Nigerians cannot be well represented should any of this candidate emerge as a president of our country in 2023.
Alhaji Atiku and Bola Tinubu lack the vision and provision to address the situation of this Nation.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo had a better conception, perception and description of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar when he said in his book titled, ‘My Watch’.
Obasajo berated the Former Vice President, regretting Atiku’s readiness to sacrifice morality, integrity, propriety, truth and national interest for self and self interest.
With this, one may not be wrong to say that the former president knows Alhaji Atiku more than millions of Nigerians reposing their trust and confidence on him.
Obasanjo’s view was justified as Atiku desperately deleted his tweets that condemned the hostility of some Muslim elements who stoned and lynched Deborah for alleged blasphemy.
The PDP presidential aspirant quickly withdrew his comment on the sad event following the threat by Northern youths to shun his candidacy.
He distanced himself from the truth so he could get the support of Northern youths to boost his presidential race.
Is this the candidate to trust with the lives and security of over 200 million Nigerians? Atiku lacks the tenacity to govern Nigeria.
Tinubu, on the other hand is a fruitful tree with many branches. He has helped a lot of politicians go beyond their limits at political space. But his outburst recently over the emergence of President Buhari in 2015 is an evidence that he was part of the people that put Nigeria in a mess.
Yes, Bola Tinubu has attained the height of excellence in politics and distinguished himself in governance during his tenure as a governor of Lagos State. But have the people forgotten Lekki killings?
The blood of innocent Nigerians allegedly killed at Lekki Tollgate during the EndSars protest has not been pacified.
