Bandits Kidnap Two Female Varsity Students In Zamfara

Recall that the outgoing President Muhammad Buhari during presidential campaigns in 2015 promised to personally lead the war against insurgents and tackle insecurity problem in Nigeria which amounted to empty promise.
Despite steering the affairs of the great nation for eight years, Buhari has nothing to write home about. Nigeria was better off before his emergence as the president.

On April 02, 2023, Bandits abducted two female students of the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) in Zamfara State.
The incident occurred in the early in the morning as their abductors stormed the hostel located at Sabon-Gida, a community opposite the main campus of the university and locked up security guards before executing their plan.
The victims whose surnames have not been given at press time were identified as Maryam and Zainab.
Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer, Zamfara State Police Command, Mohammed Shehu, said bandits invaded female hostel at Sabon Gida village in Bungudu local government area of the state and abducted two female students.
He added that a police tactical team has been commissioned to root out the culprits.
