BREAKING: Queen Elizabeth II loses Husband

The husband of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh has reportedly died this morning at the age of 99.

It could be recalled that Prince Philip had stepped down from his royal assignments due to health issues.

He made his last official public appearance in May 2017 during a Royal Marines Parade on the forcourt of Buckingham Palace.

In a statement, the Buckingham Palace stated that His Royal Highness passed away this morning at Windsor.

It reads, ” It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

“The Royal Family joins with people around the world in mourning his loss’

The statement added that further information would be given in due course.
