Delta Proprietor Advances Reasons Why Adopted Child Must Not Marry From Same Family

In African culture, an adopted child cannot from the same family he or she is adopted to. Comr. Peter Ozuem, the proprietor of God’s Own School, Ogume, Ndokwa West Local Government Area advocates cogent points.

Here are his reasons:

1) The family has already assumed that the adopted son is their full flesh blood and have initiated the son into the family through the rite of adoption

2) For the adopted son to have affair with the same daughter from the family it shows that the son is very stupid and not grateful to the family who adopted him because there are so many girls outside to have affair with.

3) The family Daughter to accept the adopted son proposal of relationship at first place is a very clear sign that the girl is very loose to anything that comes to her way because the girl supposed to at first caution the adopted son of such act.

4) Traditional if the both becomes too concerned that they must get married it there for means a goat will be killed to cleanse the gods because it is the same family juju they serve and same Onu Nmor (ancestry) the bride price is going to. So that affair is an abomination according to tradition.

5) Any Boy or Girl who have close door to door relationship is not healthy as it shows how loose they are not to control their emotions. It is better a man goes at least 1km (1 Electric Pole) away from his home to find I missing rip than attach himself to his trusted family daughter. That is the highest stupidity.

6) For any parents to approve adopted son to get married to their daughter weather because of money or what so ever reason such parents should be ready to die of heart attack and welcome more abomination because the next one they may not even have the heart to survive it. So it is better to caution their male adopted son and female children of such act so they will grow up to become good brothers and sisters and have outsiders as in-law than have insider as in-law
