Eweshi Community Holds 2023 Uzuno Day

The Eweshi community, Onitcha Ukwuani, in Ndokwa West LGA of Delta State, has celebrated her 2023 UZUNO DAY in a grand style as all indigenes of the clan, residing both home and Abroad attended the occasion.
This year’s UZUNO DAY took a better folk following sustainable developments recorded by the community through the committed efforts of well meaning individuals who took it upon themselves to reposition the community.
The variety of achievements recorded in the community were; installation of solar lights across Eweshi, renovation of town hall, construction of roads, among others.
At the 2023 UZUNO DAY, an illustrious and American based Eweshi son who made his first appearance at the occasion, Mr Mike Olise, donated shirts to all sons and daughters of Eweshi Kingdom to make the celebration colourful.
Chief Ernest Orgie, singled handedly constructed some of the roads in the community and installed solar lights across the whole community. The elders in council and okpala uku conferred with a traditional title, OBASA OME IFEOMA 1. Of Eweshi community.
Double Chief Ossai Osaji, also received an Award for good work. The personalities that were present in the UZUNO DAY were Hon. Bar Christo Ifeanyi Osakwe, RtD Adimral Mike Onah who was represented by Chief Jeffery Azagbwa, Chief Obi Nzete Ndokwa West council chairman, Hon. Chief lucky Ossai, Hon.Augustine Orji Ossai and many more.
