How Borno New Commissioner Died In His Sleep

Engr. Ibrahim Idris, the newly-appointed Commissioner for Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Resettlement, Borno State is dead.

He died in his sleep on the night of October 19, 2023, in his guest house located at 777 Housing Estate, Maiduguri.

The cause of his death is still unknown, as some unverified sources claimed the young commissioner, who also served as Special Adviser on Projects Monitoring died of a heart attack.

Other sources, as gathered by our correspondent alleged that the commissioner was poisoned.

His remains had been deposited at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for an autopsy.
