Kenneth Okanoro Foundation Commences Medical Outreach in Ndokwa East

The Kenneth Okanoro Foundation, KOF, in partnership with the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development, has unveiled a comprehensive medical and surgical outreach across the 10 wards of Ndokwa East Local Government Area in Delta State.

Scheduled to run from August 30 to September 20, 2024, the programme will deliver an array of healthcare services at designated centers within the area.
Hon. Kenneth Okanoro, the founder of KOF and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the foundation’s commitment to supporting Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda, which seeks to enhance the welfare of Delta State residents.

According to the statement, a team of qualified medical professionals will oversee the outreach, ensuring that the local population receives high-quality care.

The services provided will include health education, free laboratory screenings, consultations, and medication distribution. The outreach will also offer dental and eye care, counseling, physiotherapy sessions, and surgeries for conditions such as hernias and excision biopsies.

Hon. Okanoro encouraged residents of Ndokwa East to fully participate in the three-week programme, stressing the importance of regular health check-ups.
He noted that this outreach is a vital component of the foundation’s mission to improve the health and well-being of the community.

This initiative underscores KOF’s dedication to making healthcare accessible, particularly in rural areas where medical services are often scarce.
