Nine Appeal Court Justices Take Oath Of Office

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola has administered the oath of office to the nine newly appointed Justices of the Court of Appeal.

They were sworn in at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Justice Ariwoola cautioned the justices to discharge their duties with utmost honour and integrity in line with their calling by shunning all forms of corruption.

Those sworn in were; Hannatu Laja-Balogun from Kaduna State, Binta Zubairu from Kaduna State, and Peter Chudi Obiora from Anambra State.

Others are Justices Okon Abang from Akwa Ibom State, Asma’u Mainoma from Federal Capital Territory, Lateef Ganiyu from Oyo State, and Jane Iyang from Cross River State.

The rest are Justices Hadiza Shagari from Sokoto State, and Paul Bassi from Borno State.
