Non-Christians Celebrate Christmas More Godly Than Christians (See How)
By Odili Ogochukwu –
Is Christmas Celebration Raising More Questions Than Answers?
One good thing I have seen during the Christmas seasons in the 21st century is a beautiful background, seasonal greetings, and colorful decorations at social centers. With a lot of others competing for money in our wallets.
The increase in crime rate, hike in the price of food items, and hostile disposition of most people towards others at this period of celebration is regretful. This is not common with our aged parents.
How did people in those days celebrate Christmas? Our fore-fathers celebrated with true love, and care, rendering selfless services to humanity to make the world a befitting place.
Taking a memory stroll back to the attitude of our fathers toward one another during the festivity, one would be tempted to say that they did the real thing.
With a heart filled with love and compassion, our fathers shared food, drinks, and other special items among themselves to give Christmas its real meaning.
They understand the benefit of living together, knowing that teeth can only bite when they work together inside the same mouth.
During the Christmas season in those days, our fathers visited one another. There were masquerade dancers everywhere (both adults and children). It wasn’t a dance to glorify their gods or to uphold their cultures and traditions. They rejoiced with one another in the spirit of oneness.
The most astonishing part of the story is that those that acceptably celebrated Christmas don’t know about Jesus Christ. No Pastor or a Prophet had preached the gospel to them. Yet, there was no power tussle or a clash of personalities.
Presently, there is no demonstration of genuine love; before, during, or after festivity. Research shows that the desires of 90% of the world population are geared toward amassing unthinkable wealth and acquisition of power.
Christmas in its real sense is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. It is observed by Christians on December 25 as a religious celebration amongst the billions of people in the universe.
Christmas celebration in the 21st century raised more questions than answers. How has the celebration of Jesus Christ promoted world peace and unity?
Martin Luther King Jnr said, the richer we have become materially, the poorer we become morally and spiritually. He went further to say that we have learned to fly in the air like birds, and swim in the sea like fish, but we have not learned the simple art of living together as brothers.
This is a valid description of the society we live in today. The world is not wicked, the people are. People accuse Satan unjustly for their ungodliness.
For fear of the unknown, neighbors hardly eat from the same pot or drink from the same bucket. True love thus, eludes Christians who claimed to celebrate the birth of their Mentor, Christ Jesus.
It is hard to believe that yuletide is hence, the season of killings, kidnapping, and all sorts of criminalities or immoral activities to celebrate the Holy One.
As you celebrate this season of love, may you remember that virtue is better than wealth?
Well said, come to think of it the ancient lived in harmony despite being ignorant of the personality of Christ but we the new age despite having the full knowledge of the person of Christ still live in hatred. Oh! Where is the world headed. May God help us.

Very true we learn the civilization of our time but we despise the culture of old daily our modern age looses value for humanity and looses moral . We are all carried away with the influence of wealth and the corruption of this present day civilization. This transition has affected our systems so badly that we have now resorted to corruption as a pattern and way of life .
