Men of Nigerian police have arrested a suspected hard drugs dealer and Ogbomro community chairman, Mr Solomon Okodaso in Ataka Quarters, Uwvie local government area, Delta State.
Solomon Okodaso was arrested on March 09, 2022 at about 6:35pm as security operatives raided a drug criminal hideout at the community.

Exhibits recovered were 12 bottles of codeine, 14 sachets of tramadol, 73 wraps of weed suspected to be Sk and 65 tablets of happy mood drugs.
Others were one packet of Colorado, nine packets of razlers, one infinix handset, one Samsung handset and one ash colored Mercedes Benz C350 with plate number KUJ 664 BH.

Also recovered from the community chairman include one white colored lexus 330 vehicle with registration number EFR 303 DC and the total sum of one hundred and ninety two thousand naira only (N192, 000.00).
The arrest was orchestrated by the series of reports received by the command over unlawful drugs dealers which had led to increase in drug abuse in the state.

Also, police detectives attached to Area Command, Asaba has arrested a female suspected who drugged a motorcycle rider and stole his vehicle.
The police who had made a frantic effort to recover the stolen vehicle and other suspects involved in the act, charged the public to help with valuable information to facilitate its investigation.
The motorcycle owner (name withheld) who narrated his ordeal, said that one Aisha Hassan who pretended to be a passenger boarded his vehicle to Kenu Guest House, Bonsaac, Asaba.
Upon arrival, Aisha brought out some drinks which he took, unknown to him that it was drugged. He slept off after consuming the drink.

As he realized himself, his yet-to-be registered KC Sanya Motorcycle had been stolen.
The vehicle, with engine number 162FMJ510828953 and chassis number IPCKL11M1018611, was valued at three hundred and thirty thousand naira (N330, 000.00) only.
The prime suspect, Aisha Hassan who confessed to the crime, said the vehicle have been taken to an unknown destination by her fleeing colleagues.

Security operatives have launched a manhunt to arrest the fleeing suspects and recover the motorcycle.
