Police Tell Public How To Go About Unidentified Corpse Of Accident Victim

The Delta State Police Command has directed the public on how to go about the yet-to-be identified corpse of a male accident victim whose name and address have remained unknown.
The victim who has been deposited at Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary, Asaba, was knocked down at Summit Junction, Asaba, while crossing the highway by a heavy-duty truck.
In a statement obtained by Africa Investigative Magazine, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright, said the man was involved in an accident along Benin/Asaba expressway by Summit junction Asaba, involving one Mack Truck with Reg. No. RBC 92 ZS.

According to him, the truck knocked down the deceased while crossing the road, and the corpse has been deposited at Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary, Asaba, Delta State capital.
He said, “The photograph attached is that of a deceased accident victim whose name and address are unknown.”
Edafe added that, “Any person(s) who knows the victim, his parents, friends or other relatives should report at State Traffic office at ‘B’ division Asaba, Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary Asaba or the Police Public Relations office, Police Headquarters Asaba for possible identification and collection of a corpse.
