The Coalition of Ndokwa Peace Ambassadors, CONPA, has commended Dr. Charles Olisa, the member representing Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality in Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, for the scholarship awarded to students.

CONPA’s commendation comes after twenty beneficiaries on Olisa’s scholarship scheme were offered provisional admission to study courses of their choice at Bellarks Polytechnic, Kwale, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State.

A statement by the group’s president, Amb. Alex Chukwuka Uboh, thanked the DESOPADEC Commissioner, Hon. Dr. Charles Olisa, for his benevolence and kind gestures.

Uboh, who is also the Special Assistant to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, on Community Development, said Charles Olisa’s passion for education and generosity had unfolded a new chapter for the Ndokwa/Ukwuani ethnic Nationality to attain greater heights.

“The kind gesture of the member representing Ndokwa ethnic nationality in the board of DESOPADEC is highly commendable as education is a key to a brighter future which forms the basis of human capital development,” the statement partly read.

CONPA, however, expressed delight on the conducts of Dr Olisa for making lives livable for people in his area of delivery network, and called on the ruling class to ameliorate the sufferings of the less privilege.

Congratulating the beneficiaries, the group urged the students to explore the scholarship opportunity to better their future, especially, as the nation’s economy is bitting so hard on the people.
