Timeless: Davido’s New Album Makes History, Tops US iTunes Chart

Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has set a global narrative as the first African Musician on the US iTunes Albums Chart.

Davido’s new album tagged, ‘Timeless’ culminated the chart on April 05, 2023, placing the Nigerian born artiste as Number One in the world’s largest music market.

Recall that Davido whose Uncle, Ademola Adeleke is the governor of Osun State, released his fourth studio album ‘Timeless’ on March 31, 2023, with guest appearances from Nigerian artists.

The artist were Asake, Fave, The Cavemen, DMW’s latest additions, Morravey and Logos Olori as well as Grammy-award-winning Beninese singer Angelique Kidjo.

Others were the British rapper Skepta, South African music producer/DJ Musa Keys, Jamaican dancehall or reggae singer Dexta Daps, and South African rapper, Focalistic.
