Unknown Gunmen Attack Police Station In Delta, Kill Three Officers

Delta State Police Command has confirmed the killing of three police officers attached to Nsukwa Divisional Police Station in Aniocha South Local Government Area.

Unknown gunmen in early hours of Sunday attacked Nsukwa Divisional Police Station killed three officers and set some of the police facilities on fire.

Africa Investigative Magazine gathered that ASP Estapharius Zachariah, Sgt Christian Mazi and Sgt Ogbevire Jacob lost their lives at the incident.

In a different attack, hoodlums gunned down one Patrick Opia at Pickuck Hotel, Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area same day.

Confirming, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Ag. DSP Bright Edafe said that the motives of the attack is not yet ascertained.

His words: “Modalities have been put in place with tactical teams deployed to Nsukwa to unravel the mystery behind the attack.”

He assured that the hoodlums would be arrested and brought to book.

The police spokesperson charged the public to work with the police by giving useful information so that the bad elements could be taken out of the street.
