Woman Delivers Quintuplet After Nine Years Of Childlessness

A housewife identified as Mrs. Chidinma Amaechi has been delivered of quintuplet after nine years of childless marriage.

The quintuplets who were two boys and two girls were delivered at a private hospital in Awka, Anambra State.

According to Radio Nigeria, the babies were delivered after a caesarian session and are now in the intensive care unit of the hospital.

One of the caregivers who did not want her name mentioned, assured newsmen that the children and their mother were responding to treatment.

The elder sister of the nursing mother, Mrs. Ebele Oranekwu babies were placed in an incubator that the bill for is N250,000 per day, adding that the children are expected to be on it for about 30 days.

The bill amounted to about N7.5 million aside from other huge bills already accumulated in the past two months of managing the pregnancy at the hospital.
