2023 AFCON: Nigeria Beats Sierra Leone 2-1 In Abuja
Super Eagles of Nigeria has defeated the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone 2-1 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The match which was played without fans in the stands on June 09, 2022, was qualifiers for 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Recall that Nigerian fans were handed one-match ban by the world football governing body over a violent protest that erupted at the end of the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff against Ghana in March.
