3 Terrorists Killed, Six Captives Freed During Military Operation In Sokoto

Troops of Joint Task Force North West Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD) of the Nigerian Army, said it killed three terrorists in Sokoto State and freed six kidnaped victims during operation.

The Information Officer of the OPHD, Captain Ibrahim Yahaya, who disclosed this, said the success was recorded during an operation carried out on the 14th December, 2023, at Bauni village forest.

In a g!un duel that lasted for several hours, Yahaya said, the military aggressiveness and firepower superiority forced the terrorists out of their hideouts to flee into their confusion.

He explained that in the process, aside the three terrorists that were killed, six kidnapped victims were also freed.

Other recovered items were two A!K47 rifles, 19 Magazines, am!munition, two dane g!uns , Motorcycles, radios (walkie talkies) and other items,” he said.

Yahaya further added that all the black spots in the state and their Motorcycles have been destroyed completely.
