When asked in a press interview whether he is the best striker in the world, Benzema said he was not playing football to become the world best footballer, but for ‘nights like this’.
“I don’t play football to be the world’s best, I play for nights like this one. These are magical nights, just like the other game against Paris Saint-Germain at the Bernabéu.
