From the beginning of the Naira redesign and it’s effects, I knew and I saw it coming that the masses will experience what’s on ground now. It’s like a battle between two great warriors fighting for supremacy.
The scenerio could be compared to a truck driver and owner, from time to time, owner of a truck may decide to command his driver to transport his goods to a place of his choice as against the original schedule of the driver.
This analogy brings us back to the issue of the President stands and the pronouncement of the supreme Court judgement over the position of N500 and N1000 notes as legal tender or not. Some may be surprised while some are aware that the President of Nigeria is the most powerful leader in the world.
You may ask why? Other countries leaders obey court orders and follows the rules and regulations of their various countries. They all stand by the Constitution. Only insane person that argues with somebody with a gun.
While some state Governors were still asking their people to accept the old naira notes because of fear of unknown, no one has heeded to the directive. Now those in forefront for the total recall of the now old notes are like a child crying in the wilderness.
What I’m trying to deduce from the whole issue is that the President stance superceded, after all, who appoints the supreme Court judges? Remember, he who pays the Piper dictates the tunes.
As much as we have managed the situation till now, nothing will prevent us from not seeing the end. let us support the president, for what he saw we have not seen it even if we have resorted to Trade by BARTER is for a short period.
Just persevere and something good will come out of it. What we are experiencing is the effects of two Elephant fighting, the grasses and the trees will suffer. The life journey of a Nigeria citizens is characterized by many hurdles and torn.
Democracy, as practiced in Nigeria, is a blessing or curse shall be in front burner soonest. WATCH & PRAY in this season and always. Thank you my fellow citizens and think less.
