Delta Guber Election: Soccer Congratulates Onyeme, Oborevwori, On Victory

President general of Umuchime Ogume in Diaspora, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State, Chief Festus George Enukegu, has congratulated the Deputy Governor-elect of the state, Sir Monday Onyeme, and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on their overwhelming victory at the just concluded polls.
Chief Festus Enukegu, fondly called ‘Soccer-Soccer, also congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his emergence as the governor-elect in the election held on March 18, 2023.
Enukegu said the outcome of the election is an embodiment of trust and confidence the people reposed on Oborevwori and Onyeme in the state.

While saying that the State Peoples Democratic Party presented the most qualified candidates for the election, Enukegu expressed his assurances on the forthcoming administration, adding that the state will jot down rapid transformation within a space of time.
According to him, with Sheriff Oborevwori and Monday Onyeme at the helm of affairs of the state, every nook and cranny in Delta would experience rapid development.
He said, “I am convinced that their leadership would deliver sufficient governance and justice for all Deltans. There is no exception; their impact would equally be felt in rural communities.
“The people of Delta State have made the choice by electing them. They will consolidate on the legacy of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to move the state to a greater height.”
While praying for God’s guidance on them, Soccer called on opposition parties who are not satisfied with the election results to put it behind them and join hands in making Delta State a better place.
