Engr Odokor Triumphs in PCRC ‘A’ Division Election, Pledges Continued Service

Engr. Godwin Odokor has secured a decisive victory in the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) ‘A’ Division election in Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.

He garnered 42 votes, significantly outpacing his opponent, Ogheneovo Ofragene, who received three votes in the open ballot election held on December 17, 2024.

The election victory marks a significant milestone for Engr. Odokor and members of the PCRC, ‘A’ Division, Ughelli.

This election outcome is expected to have a positive impact on the community, and Odokor’s leadership is eagerly anticipated, especially, as his campaign for re-election focused on key issues relevant to the PCRC ‘A’ Division, Ughelli community.

Reacting to his election victory, Engr. Godwin Odokor, expressed gratitude to the PCRC members for re-electing him, acknowledging the confidence they have placed in him to continue his work.

He also thanked his opponent,  Ogheneovo Ofragene, for allowing him to demonstrate his worth.

Odokor emphasized the importance of teamwork, stating that they will work together to achieve greater heights.

He said, “I thanked you all for giving me another opportunity to serve the PCRC family, and for accepting what I have been doing. I also thanked my friend, Ogheneovo Ofragene for making it possible for me to know my worth.

“To whom much is given, much is expected. We are going to work together as a team; just as we have been doing to achieve higher than where we are now. PCRC is one family. There is no grudge anywhere,” he added.

On his part, Ogheneovo Ofragene congratulated the Godwin Odokor JP, and pledged his support to the chairman elect to take the division to greater level.

Candidates who were unopposed include Mr. Henrysharp Ohwovoriole, Vice Chairman, Rev. Azaka Ejovwokoghene, Assistant Secretary and Doris Abowho, Treasurer.

Others were Onoriode Emorena, Financial Secretary, Diamond Ogbegwa, Publicity Secretary, Patrick Mamus, Organizing Secretary, Mr. Solomon Eyamekwaere, Auditor, Victor Ubuh, Welfare Officer, Sir Roy Enekwenchi
Provost Mashal, Mr. Ufuoma Onorere
Ex Officio 1, and Pa. Nelson Echijefe
Ex Officio 11.

The inauguration of the elected executives is scheduled for January 28, 2025.
