Facebook Has No Justification For Allowing Separatists, Anarchists Use Its Platforms – Lai Muhammed
The Federal Government has said that it would checkmate the activities on Facebook and other social media platforms.
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, stated this on May 17, 2022, in Abuja during a meeting with Facebook officials.
Lai Mohammed told the officials that Facebook has no justification for allowing separatists and anarchists to use its platform propagate hate and destabilize Nigeria.
“I have called this meeting to enable us to discuss the increasing use of Facebook by separatists and anarchists, especially those of them based outside the country, to instigate violence and ethnic hatred in Nigeria.
