Fed High Court Convicts Two For Cybercrime In Oyo

The Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State has on June 30, 2022, sentenced Alani Ridwan Kalejaye and Ishola Abdullahi Ademola for impersonation.
The duo was convicted on separate one-count charges which bordered on impersonation.
Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), brought the convicts before Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, Oyo State on June 27, 2022.

The defendants, however, pleaded guilty to the charges filed against them by the anti-graft agency.
The prosecution counsel reviewed the facts of the cases and tendered documents in evidence before urging the court to convict and sentence them as charged.
Justice Agomoh, however, convicted the duo and adjourned the matter to June 30, 2022, for sentencing
