Youths in Delta State, particularly Ndokwa nation have been enjoined to seek knowledge to understand the rudiments of electoral processes and governance to bring the needed development to the region.
The charge was given recently at a meeting organized by Ndokwa Centre For Growth and Development in collaboration with Ndoshimili Development Association (Youth Wing) to commemorate 2022 International Youth Day.
Speaking, the Founder of Index Consulting Firm, Lagos, Engr. Ike Onyenokwe tasked the youths to wake up from deep slumber to take the responsibility of repositioning the affairs of the nation.

Engr. Onyenokwe pointed out that the only way to bring desired change is for the youths to join political parties or pressure groups that could guarantee their demands before, during, and after the 2023 general elections.
In a message titled, ‘Ndokwa Beyond 2023’, Onyenokwe called on youths in the area to acquire knowledge to help them play active parts in politics, noting that ignorance and poverty are the reason for the backwardness of the Ndokwa Nation.
On his part, Barr. Malachy Ugwumadu regretted the dilapidated nature of the road networks in Ndokwaland and urged the youths to identify their areas of strength to capitalize on them.
Ugwumadu tasked the youth to engage in meaningful collaborations, especially as the world is characterized by endless possibilities with the advancement of technology.
He stressed the need for Ndokwaland to become better, saying that it is time for youths to constructively explore the internet for maximum benefit.
“It is time for Ndokwa youths to be intentional; ensuring that they become responsive, creative, and innovative with the aid of the internet and social media.”
Commenting, Sir Ossai Udom expressed displeasure over the absence of Ndokwa political and youth leaders at the occasion, encouraging the defaulters to turn a new leaf.
He advised the youth to throw their weights behind candidates who have the capacity of moving the Ndokwa nation to a greater height.
“Enough is enough. This time, it is Ndokwa first. The youths should support only those candidates that have the interest of people at heart,” he said.
The meeting was attended by Ndokwa patriots in the United Kingdom, United States of America, South Korea, Nigeria, and so on.
