INEC Takes Crucial Steps Against Sat Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has taken crucial steps in favour of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections as it has commenced the distribution of sensitive election materials to its local government offices.

Recall that 18 political parties have been jostling for the Presidency and other electoral positions in the country which would take a new turn after the February 25, 2023, elections.

The presidential candidates were the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi; All Progressives Congress candidate (APC), Bola Tinubu and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Others were Omoyele Sowore of the African Action Congress (AAC) and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Africa Investigative Magazine gathered that the electoral body distributed some electoral materials in Cross River, Calabar, and other states in the Southern Nigeria including South East and South-South.
