Interior Ministry Launches Automated Passport Application

The Ministry of Interior on January 08, 2024, said it has launched Nigerian’s Automated Passport Application.

This is indication that the masses could acquire international passport online via Nigerian’s Immigration Service portal within two weeks.

In its verified X account, the Ministry said Nigerians and foreigners can now access the Immigration portal from their phones or computer.

The five simple steps also indicated that the International passport will be ready in 2 weeks after application.

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo had promised that the new system will redefine how citizens enroll and procure the International passport in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
