Kenya’s First Lady Goes Spiritual Over Same-S3!x Marriage

Kenya’s First Lady, Rachel Ruto has taken the fight against same-s3.!x relationships and marriages in the country to God, as the nation declared national prayers to wipe off the evil.
Describing same-s3!x marriage as untraditional, Ruto said Kenya cannot accept the Supreme Court verdict that upheld the citizens’ right to association.
She added that accepting to have a discussion about LGTBQ in Kenya is like throwing morals into the dustbin.

The First Lady who recently disclosed that homosexuality remains criminalized in Kenya said, “We should not even try to talk about LGTBQ. This is a conversation we should not even have in our country because accepting it is like throwing our morals into the dustbin.”

The Supreme Court ruled that refusal to allow the LGBT community to register lobby groups in Kenya would violate their right to association, as provided in the Kenyan constitution.
However, the ruling was greeted by protests from President William Ruto, as well as religious leaders in Kenya.
Kenya’s attorney-general said the government will challenge the court’s ruling, insisting that the issue is a matter for public consultations rather than for the courts.
