Kidnapped Victim Dies One Week After Release From Den
The Chief Executive Officer of Ekwulobia Urban Mass Transport Company Limited, Anambra State, Chief Innocent Ezeokafor has died one week after he regained freedom from the kidnapper’s cave.
The famous transporter gave up the ghost at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Anambra State.

The victim who was kidnapped on October 19, 2022, by masked men was held hostage for about three weeks.
Africa Investigative Magazine gathered that his health condition deteriorated while in captivity as he grew into more health complications last weekend.

Upon his release, he was immediately taken to the teaching hospital where he took his last breathe.
Ekwulobia Urban Mass Transport Company Limited was one of the most popular and oldest transport companies at Upper Iweka, Onitsha.
At the time of filing this report, it was not ascertained if the ransom was paid as an effort to reach the family members and company staff was not successful.
