Mob Sets Transformer Vandals Ablaze In Ebonyi
Irate youths have on November 18, 2022, set three suspected Electricity Transformer vandals ablaze at Igweledoha Amagu, Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State.
The suspects who were accused of bashing power facilities in Igweledoha, include Ndufu Amata, Ekawoke and son of the traditional ruler, Ikwo.

An Eyewitness who gave his name as Ogbonnaya stated that the suspects were caught with some Transformer parts around 2am prompt on Friday.
It was learned that the suspects were five in number but two escaped while three including the son of the Traditional Ruler were meted with jungle justice.

Ogbonnaya who stated that they were afraid of handling the suspects to the police, explained that even if they do, the police would release them, and that the suspects would continue to vandalize their transformers.
“We are afraid that police would release them, and they will come back to continue with their activities.”
