The CBN cashless policy is trailed by confusion as the transition process has resulted in the death of many Nigerians who met their untimely end while struggling to access the new naira notes in designated areas.
The condition worsens on a daily basis as the Federal government and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) have no proper plan of action to bring lasting solutions to the problem.
The implementation of the CBN’s cashless policy has grounded the economic activity of the nation as the helpless people cannot withdraw their own money anywhere in Nigeria.
Some people had died of hunger while a few others could not get cash to access medication. In the face of this, some suspected medical outfits reject patients without new naira notes which are only available in the hands of few.
