The President General of the Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU), Comrade (Chief) Amechi Asugwuni, has emphasized the need for unity and peace in Aboh Kingdom as a foundation for the advancement of the Ndokwa nation.

He made this call on Saturday during the Kingsley Ogwu Foundation (KOF) Skill Acquisition and Empowerment Programme held in Aboh, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State.

In his remark, Asugwuni commended the founder of the Kingsley Ogwu Foundation, Chief (Engr.) Kingsley Ogwu, for his commitment to youth empowerment and community development.

He noted that initiatives such as KOF’s programme not only equip individuals with skills but also foster unity and socio-economic growth across Ndokwa land.

“The unity and peace of Aboh are paramount to the advancement and history of the Ndokwa nation, and must be protected at all costs. Achieving peace and unity in Aboh Kingdom is fundamental and should form part of the empowerment agenda for Aboh people and Ndokwa nation in general. We must preserve the throne of Aboh for future generations,” said Asugwuni.

The NNU President General noted that empowerment is a tool for collective growth, stressing that empowering one individual has a multiplier effect on the community.

“Nobody embarks on empowerment without a vision. Vision drives the mind, and when you pursue your vision, you can spend to fulfill your it,” he said.

Asuguni encouraged stakeholders to identify and address areas of conflict in the Ndokwa nation to ensure peace and stability.

“Wherever there is a crack in Ndokwa nation, we must repair it immediately. Peace can only be achieved through willingness and commitment,” he added.

According to him, by working together, stakeholders can build a stronger, more united Ndokwa nation, where individuals can thrive and contribute to the community’s growth and prosperity.

Amechi Asuguni, however, stressed that preserving the throne of Aboh for future generations requires collective efforts to promote oneness and unity.

The event, which attracted several community leaders, youths, and beneficiaries, featured the distribution of empowerment tools and training to enhance self-reliance and economic stability in Aboh Kingdom.
