NUJ Ughelli Chapel Commends Oborevwori for Appointing Chairman as SSA

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ughelli Correspondent Chapel commends the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for the appointment of her Chairman, Comrade Sunday Apah, as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media.

A statement signed by Comrade Kparobor Eghwubare, and Hezekiah Ovedhe, the Chapel’s vice chairman and secretary, respectively described Apah’s appointment as another positive development for journalists serving in the current administration of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.

The statement said the appointment as a well-deserved reward for diligence, dedication, and ingenuity.

It added that Apah, through his years of reporting on the activities of the Delta State Government, has consistently demonstrated excellence, making this appointment a recognition of his continued commitment to quality work.

The Chapel expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for the appointment and expressed confidence that Comrade Apah would represent the union admirably while serving the state government in line with the Governor’s MORE AGENDA for Deltans.

The statement further urged media practitioners in the Chapel and throughout the state to conduct themselves with dignity and uphold the ethics of the profession in their work. It emphasized that diligence and hard work will always be recognized and rewarded.
