In a congratulatory letter to the governor-elect and all the PDP candidates that won their various elective positions across Isoko nation, noted that the people have accepted the democratic system of government, hence, the victory PDP recorded in the polls.

The letter read in parts; “On behalf of myself, my teeming supporters and members of Cool Correct Movement, I deem it opt to express my felicitation and congratulate you, other PDP candidates on your victories in the just concluded elections.

“The victory of our Governor-elect, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, deserved commendation as a result of Oborevwori resilience having fought a long battle over a very long period of time, before the polls and Deltans accepted him hence he was voted in as our Governor-elect. I advised the governor-elect to see his victory as a higher call to service.

“I am confident and convinced that, the Speaker legislative prowess and the experience he has gained from his closed working relationship with the Executive Arm of the State for the past 7years, he will deliver the best for the state. Judging from his capacity, wealth of experience, exposure and leadership qualities, this will be an easy task.

“I also congratulates Hon Ferguson Ajiroghene Onwo, Honourable Member elect for Isoko South Constituency II, his Isoko South Constituency I counterpart, Hon Owhede Bino Obowomano, and Engr. Jonathan Ajiroghene Ukodhiko, Member-elect House of Representatives, Isoko Federal Constituency for their victories in their respective elective positions.

“Delta State is a PDP State and Deltans have chosen their Governor-elect and Legislative members elect through the polls in which they casted their votes in a very peaceful way to those elected and we should ensure to sustain this peace by avoiding legal battle that will distract them from  providing good governance to our people.

“I appreciate the efforts of my Leader, Chief Solomon Ogba, my ward Leader, Mr Godspower Abighe who also doubles as the election coordinator, and my Ward constituents for mobilising and voting enmasse for PDP in the election which gave our great party PDP the victory.”
