A 40-year-old man identified as Uche Igwe, has been arraigned by Lagos State Police Command for sharing the xxx video of a 10-year-old pupil of Chrisland schools on Twitter.
Uche Igwe was brought before a Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State on May 09, 2022 for sharing a video clip involving five students that engaged in immoral act.

The alleged broadcaster was facing a two-count charge bordering on cyberstalking and breach of peace.
The prosecutor, Mr. Augustine Nwabuisi, informed the court that the defendant committed the offenses on April 18, 2022, on the Twitter application.
Augustine Nwabuisi explained that the defendant who had pleaded not guilty, used his personal Twitter account, identified as ‘@uchedark’, to broadcast the video on the internet without the consent of the student’s parents or the school.
According to the Prosecutor, “the offenses contravene Section 24 (1) (a) (b) (i) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition and Prevention) Act of 2015, and Section 168 (d) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
“Section 24 (1) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition and Prevention) Act of 2015 provides for 10 years’ imprisonment for cyberstalking.
“Breach of the peace is punishable with three months’ jail term under Section 168 (d) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015,” he said.
In her judgment, the Chief Magistrate, Mrs. Adeola Adedayo, maintained that the defendant would be bailed in the sum of N10million with three sureties in like sum.
Mrs. Adedayo posited that the sureties must submit their National Identification Numbers (NIN) and their Lagos State Residents Registration Agency cards.
The Magistrate said that one of the sureties must be a landowner, and that, all the sureties must reside within the court’s jurisdiction.
She, however, adjourned the case to June 13, 2022, for further hearing.
