Ronaldo Speaks On Retirement From International Football

Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo has said that he has no intention of retiring from international football.
The football lord noted that he wants to play for Portugal at the 2024 European Championship.
Ronaldo, 37, explained that he desired to leave United in the summer but remains at the club and will play a role in Erik ten Hag’s squad until the beginning of next year.
Ten Hag also denied reports that Ronaldo would leave the club across the summer and the forward scored his first goal of the season against FC Sheriff last week.
Recall that Ronaldo has started just three matches this term after returning late to pre-season.
It was gathered that Ronaldo who was named in Portugal’s squad for this month’s Nations League fixtures was set to play at the Qatar World Cup.
The former world best broke the all-time international scoring record last year and he remains a key part of Portugal’s plans on the international stage.
Further, he was presented with an award at a Portuguese Football Federation ceremony on Tuesday and he informed the audience of his plans for the future, explaining that he intends to represent his nation at Euro 2024, which will be hosted in Germany.
