Terrorists Allegedly Kill 37 In Southern Kaduna

No fewer than 37 people have been slaughtered in Malagum 1 and Sokwong communities of Kagoro Chiefdom in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The victims were killed from separate terrorist attacks that took place at the night of December 18, 2022.

Speaking on the incident, the local government chairman, Mathias Siman, stated that seven persons were brutally killed at Sokwong Community.
It was learned that the invasion came barely five days after an attack that consumed three persons was launched in Malagum 1.
According to Siman, all the houses in Sokwong Community were completely ravaged by the terrorist, although, he could not reaffirm the number of people killed in Malagum 1.

He said, “Attacks in our area have been consistent and multi-dimensional with efforts of the security operatives and government not seen or felt.”
Reacting, the Speaker, Kaura Local Government Legislative Council ,and Chairman of Kauru Local Government Area, Atuk Stephen also said terrorists carried out a coordinated attack around 11 pm on Sunday where 37 people were killed.
